🎟️ How to Register for the Toronto Bachata Level-Up Jack & Jill Competitions
Before signing up, please follow these steps to make sure your registration goes smoothly:
Step 1: Get Your Festival Pass First
You MUST hold a valid Full Pass or Party Pass to the Toronto Bachata Level-Up Festival (June 4–7, 2026) in order to compete.
Step 2: Read Through the Category Details Carefully
Three categories are available, each designed for a different experience level. Take time to review the description of each one and choose the category that best reflects your current dancing experience and background:
• 💃 Novice — Intended for dancers with less than 2 years of bachata experience, little to no Jack & Jill experience, and no teaching background. Dancers in this division should comfortably identify as beginners. Competitors must not have previously won 1st place in any bachata Jack & Jill competition, including amateur divisions.
• 🌟 Rising Star — Designed for more experienced social dancers with 2+ years of bachata training, strong fundamentals, and some exposure to performances or competitions, but who do not regularly teach or compete. Dancers in this division should comfortably identify as intermediate-level dancers. Competitors must not have previously won 1st place in any intermediate, advanced, or pro level bachata Jack & Jill competition.
• ⭐ All Stars — Intended for advanced dancers, instructors, performers, and experienced competitors who are comfortable dancing at a professional level.
Please note: once you register for a division, your category selection cannot be changed. Be sure to choose the level that most accurately reflects your current experience to ensure fair and appropriate competition placement.
